A Shout Out...

Just wanted to give a little "shout out" to our cousin's Kyle and Courtney Halverson in Topeka,KS who welcomed their second little girl into the world today! Camille Lee Halverson was born at 8:29 a.m. and weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces and is 18.5 inches long. We have to wait until Christmas to see the precious angel (boo hoo) for ourselves, but from what we hear she is amazing and her pictures prove that she is indeed precious. Congrats Kyle, Courtney, and big sister Mia!

Think PINK!!

So we found out that we will be blessed with another little girl! I couldn't be happier, Lauren couldn't be happier, and Travis couldn't be happier...though I think he really was hoping for a boy this time. We have decided her name will be Taylor Paige Overstreet and we have been working hard to prepare Lauren to be a big sister.

This pregnancy has been really hard for me. I found out I was pregnant in June, and then 2 weeks later I ended up in the ER because I wasn't feeling good and I ended up having the FLU! Then I had some mild bleeding and cramping and was really worried I was having a mis-carriage but it ended up getting better. The first ultrasound was a COMPLETE relief and hearing baby's heartbeat made everything better.

About a month ago I started having issues with sciatica. It doesn't help at all that I'm on my feet ALL day at work...like literally I sit for maybe an hour each day. And sometimes I'm in one spot all day and that REALLY doesn't help. I didn't have any issues like this with Lauren so this has been really hard to deal with and very depressing. The spider veins in my legs are getting worse, my feet and ankles are already swollen (didn't have that issue until AFTER I delivered Lauren and was at home for a few days), and I'm so exhausted and struggling with taking care of Lauren and myself.

That's about it in a nutshell around here. I will keep you posted on the happenings as this pregnancy and our lives progress.
